While the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington was happening at Lincoln Memorial, the Harris Family decided to take a trip down to the MLK National Historic Site! What a lovely trip this was! It is SO IMPORTANT to us that we share with our children our African American history. Though it is sparingly taught in schools, to get the opportunity to walk through the neighborhood, house and church of a Hero is a Great experience!
